Michelle Wolf once said “Blogs are a conversation no one wanted to have with you” and I think there’s a lot of truth to that. No one ~really~ cares what my opinions are about different games and movies, and I totally get that. This is a space where I try to put into words how I feel about things, moreso to practice that ability then to get thousands of views and ad dollars… So that’s what I do here.

This site’s name is a very obvious reference favourite cartoon: Steven Universe. The main character Steven’s enthusiasm, empathy and love for those around him inspires me. Stephan’s Universe then is a way for me to channel all that enthusiasm into something a little more substantial than my fleeting thoughts about stuff.
